Athina's Salon

Athina's Salon opened in September 2020 at 65 Dodge Street in Beverly. The salon describes itself as the North Shore's destination for extensions, color and smoothing treatments.

Owner Athina Clickstein started in 2002 styling hair for friends' semi-formal and prom events. Her interest moved from precision cutting into hair color, and over the past twelve years her work has centered on extensions and bridal styling.

Main services here are hair extensions, lived-in color, balayage, smoothing treatments and precision cuts. Color changes and extension work may need a consultation before you book.

Bridal hair and makeup is provided on location through Bridal Beauty by Athina's, at a venue, hotel or getting-ready spot. Service covers Cape Cod, Boston and the rest of New England, including New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont. Groups can be as small as one person or grow to twenty or more. Trial sessions address the wedding look, dress neckline, accessories, skin preparation, hair texture, volume and how long the style will last. Packages include travel and parking for on-site work within 50 miles, and travel beyond that is priced on request.

Text inquiries are answered within 24 hours during business hours, with a goal of responding that quickly, while email may take up to 48 hours. Rescheduling requires at least 48 hours notice, and later cancellations incur a 50% charge of the services booked.
