Atelier Mane

Atelier Mane is a boutique studio located in Suite 220 at 205 W. State St. in Geneva, above Vargos Dance. It was co-created by Kari Harlan and Manda O'Connell, and the studio describes its work as centered on lived-in color, seamless extensions and creative color.

Every visit is by appointment. A free 15-minute consultation comes first for extensions, color correction, and for new clients who want dry cuts or express blonding. Appointments are open Tuesday through Saturday, with hours that vary by day, and the studio is closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Color work covers dimensional color, lived-in blondes and brunettes, vivid color and all-over color, along with partial and full blonding in foils, highlights, foilayage, balayage or custom foils. A bleach and tone maintenance service is available for roots under two inches, applied to the scalp without foils. Toner and stand-alone blow outs are also offered.

Extensions are a major focus. Signature looks include Custom Weft Extensions, Natural Luxe Extensions, Blended Vivids and Custom K-Tip Extensions. Extension removal is booked on its own at $25 per row, and wash and style is a separate blow out.

Cancellations and reschedules should be made at least 24 hours ahead by texting Manda directly. A cancellation fee, calculated as a percentage of the service, may apply to late changes.

Hair integrity, comfort and quality results come first, with lower-tox color lines and selected professional products used whenever possible.
