Ascension Collective

The business began as a holistic salon centered on natural beauty and has since grown into three connected businesses under Ascension Collective: the salon and head spa, Ascension Mystic Adornments, which sells jewelry described as high vibrational, and Ascend with Jess, which focuses on prosperity and purpose. The salon is upstairs in Santa Fe Square in south Mesa, a few minutes from Downtown Gilbert.

The head spa treatments are built around the scalp. A session begins with a scalp analysis using a high-magnification tool, followed by a scalp massage, a cleanse, exfoliation when it is judged safe, and scalp steam. Depending on the treatment, it may end with a customized hair tea, a deep moisturizing hair treatment and light therapy. Treatments are described as a facial for the scalp, aimed at circulation, tension relief and scalp and hair health, and a Reiki-based scalp experience is also offered. Hui Hui Essentials organic hair oils are used, and signature treatments include nourishing organic oils and serums. A scalp treatment every four to eight weeks is suggested, adjusted to individual needs, and a Head Spa Membership is sold as a package.

Services are priced at an hourly rate, with gratuity included. Radiance Reclamation is an in-person group workshop that pairs a short teaching on chakras and energy bodies with Kundalini Yoga and meditation. The Beloved Way Transcendence School is an online school with daily yoga and meditation at two levels of participation, and The Beloved Way also offers daily live meditation, courses, and one-on-one and group coaching.

Comfortable clothing is recommended, and no dressing up is needed. Clients with lice are not served. A 24-hour cancellation notice is required. A first missed appointment is charged 50% of the reserved service and a second is charged in full. Outstanding fees must be paid before a new appointment can be booked. Payment is taken by credit card through a Square reader or in cash, though the salon usually cannot make change.
