The salon's hair menu is organized into cutting, coloring, texture, waxing, extras, special treatments and fees. Coloring ranges from a color refresh and shine on the ends to custom color, cap and foil highlighting, double process blond and combined custom color with partial or full highlights. Texture services include relaxer touch-ups, body waves or perms, full relaxers and a custom wrap. Add-ons include a flat iron finish, a keratin and collagen treatment, and a shampoo with blow dry or style. Pricing for corrective color, deep conditioning and cleanse-and-style services is set after a consultation.

Artistic Rose also offers custom wigs and toppers, fitted, colored and styled for each client. Wig lines include human hair, 100% Remy human hair, lace-front, mono-filament, partial mono-filament and heat-friendly options. The salon offers cranial prostheses for medical hair loss and describes its approach to hair loss as non-surgical. It says it addresses hair loss from alopecia, scarring, cancer, chemotherapy, radiation treatment, natural thinning and female pattern baldness. A complimentary human hair consultation is available to wig clients, and the salon accepts a range of insurance plans toward the cost of wigs and cranial prostheses. Wig consultations are private, with one client at a time by appointment.

Guests are asked to arrive five to ten minutes before their appointment. The salon may ask for a credit card to hold a booking. Changes or cancellations should be made at least 24 hours ahead, and a $50 fee applies to those made with less notice. Missed appointments and same-day cancellations may be charged the full price of the services booked. Arriving 15 minutes late could cost the reserved time, and arriving 30 minutes late is recorded as a missed appointment. Added chemical services, long hair or thick hair can raise the total. Payment is accepted in cash, by check, Visa, MasterCard or gift certificate, with proper identification. Gift certificates can be used toward any service or merchandise but cannot be exchanged for cash, are non-refundable, and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. They are valid for one year from purchase. Gratuities are not included in the bill, and the salon notes a customary gratuity of 15 to 20 percent.

The salon takes a tailored approach to every service, with a non-surgical approach to hair loss for wig and prosthesis clients.

Wig consultations take place privately, one client at a time, by appointment.
