Artisan MedSpa, Laser & Wellness operates from Suite 110 on Harris Parkway in Fort Worth. Dr. Ramin R. Samadi, the Medical Director, began practicing aesthetic medicine in 2006 and established the medspa in Fort Worth. The practice is open Monday through Friday from 10am to 4pm and Saturdays from 10am to 2pm, and it is closed on Sundays. Visits are by appointment only.

The injectable menu covers Botox, Xeomin, dermal fillers, Kybella and Belotero. The filler range includes Radiesse, Versa Black, Versa Lips+ and Belotero. The practice uses only natural fillers, meaning hyaluronic acid and calcium-based types, and its preferred hyaluronic acid filler is the Versa+ and Lips+ line from Revanesse. Radiesse is calcium-based and cannot be dissolved once it is placed, though it can be shaped while being injected. Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved and reversed by an experienced injector. A filler session usually runs about 30 minutes with no recovery period. A liquid facelift, which begins with a topical numbing cream and typically takes 20 to 30 minutes, can address the forehead, tear troughs, cheeks, nose, jawline, chin and temples. Results can take two to three weeks to fully show and may last six to 24 months.

Kybella is FDA approved for moderate to severe fullness from submental fat in adults. The practice also uses it off-label on areas such as love handles, the muffin top, bra bands and under the arms. Most patients need two to four sessions spaced 30 to 45 days apart, and redness and swelling at the injection sites can last up to 10 days.

Non-aesthetic treatments include neuromodulator injections for migraine and TMJ, which take about 15 to 20 minutes, and a Botox-based treatment for excessive sweating in areas such as the scalp, underarms, hands, feet and groin. Numbing cream is applied before the hyperhidrosis injections, and results are described as starting around five days after and lasting up to five to six months. Aesthetic skin treatments include laser work for acne, scar revision, melasma, rosacea and skin discolorations.

Wellness programs begin with an in-person consultation and a customized Health Management Plan. Options include weight management, bio-identical hormone replacement, IV hydration and medical-grade supplements. Weight management starts with a medical evaluation that includes blood work and an EKG, and the program lists semaglutide (Ozempic), tirzepatide (Mounjaro), HCG injections and a ketogenic diet among its options. The hormone replacement program lists testosterone, estrogen, progesterone, sermorelin, DHEA, oxytocin and Cortef, given topically, orally, by intramuscular injection or as pellets. Dr. Samadi's Health & Wellness Institute, established in 2008, addresses healthy aging, age management, hormone imbalances and weight management, and treats obesity as a chronic condition that needs ongoing care. The practice also offers memberships.

Policies: new patients should arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to complete paperwork. Appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours ahead, or a $50 cancellation fee applies, and the no-show fee is also $50. Individual treatments are paid at the visit, while packages must be paid in full at the first treatment. Service packages and prepaid treatments expire 12 months after purchase. Refunds are not given for services already rendered; unused purchases convert to credit for other services. Gift certificates are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash or gratuities. Referral credit is issued after a referred new client completes a first treatment, must be used within one year and is not cash.

The practice focuses on natural dermal fillers and takes a medical approach to wellness, treating weight management as a long-term medical condition.
