Obstetric care starts before pregnancy and continues through delivery, including high-risk pregnancies such as those involving pre-eclampsia, gestational diabetes, twins, thyroid disease, or other chronic medical conditions. Fertility work-up looks for the cause of infertility through lab tests, specialty ultrasounds, and testing of a partner, including semen analysis, and the practice works with reproductive endocrinologists on diagnosis and treatment. Prenatal counseling covers diet, vitamins, testing, and medication adjustments for those preparing to conceive. An in-office lab lets prenatal blood work be drawn at the same visit as the appointment, and in-office 3D and 4D pregnancy ultrasounds and genetic and carrier testing are available.
Gynecology covers well-woman exams and yearly check-ins, breast exams for a range of breast conditions, and diagnosis and treatment of painful or heavy periods and PCOS, including lab work, ultrasound, and guidance on related symptoms. Chronic pelvic pain is evaluated to find its source, which may include infection, PID, ovarian cysts, ectopic pregnancy, or endometriosis. Vaginal pain and discharge are tested and treated, including testing for bacteria that cause vaginitis, and STD testing and treatment covers gonorrhea, chlamydia, trichomonas, syphilis, hepatitis, HIV, and herpes types 1 and 2. Menopause options include hormone replacement therapy with hormones, bio-identical hormones, and supplements. Contraception counseling covers birth control pills, IUDs, Nexplanon, patches, the vaginal ring, and bilateral tubal ligation or salpingectomy.
Several procedures can be done in the office, including hysteroscopy, uterine ablation, and D&C, which means patients can avoid a hospital setting. In-office transabdominal and transvaginal pelvic ultrasounds are also available. The practice offers robotic and minimally invasive gynecological surgery, and the practice says all of its providers are trained in robotic surgery. Patients completing forms online should arrive 15 minutes early, and those completing them in the office should arrive 30 minutes early. Intake forms for new gynecology and obstetrics patients can be downloaded beforehand. Imagine Aesthetics is the in-office aesthetic service line of the practice. Vaginal rejuvenation uses the MonaLisa Touch CO2 laser, applied with a probe, for symptoms of vaginal atrophy; a session typically takes under 30 minutes and needs no anesthesia or downtime, and mild discomfort can usually be managed with a topical anesthetic. The practice says the treatment has been shown to improve dryness, itching, burning, and discomfort during intercourse, and that it is believed to help reduce the risk of urinary tract and vaginal infections. Vivaci RF microneedling creates tiny microchannels in the skin using sterile needles and is customized to address acne scars, sun damage, hyperpigmentation, uneven tone, and fine lines. Intense pulsed light therapy addresses sun damage, age spots and freckles, rosacea, acne and acne scarring, spider veins, birthmarks, and hyperpigmentation, and permanent IPL hair removal is offered for the face, legs, arms, underarms, and bikini area, typically over multiple sessions. People with certain medical conditions or medications are advised to speak with their doctor before IPL treatment.
