Ari On The Lashes

Ari On The Lashes is an LLC run by its owner, Ari, who works as the studio's lash artist. The business opened in 2023, shortly after Ari graduated, and all services are by appointment at the studio in Valparaiso.

Every visit starts with a consultation covering the look a client wants and which mapping pattern suits them. The artist asks for a portrait-style photo during this step so lashes can be mapped to the client's features. Appointments begin with a lash bath and end with care instructions and an aftercare kit. Six lash shades are available, Black, Berry Beautiful, Fawn, Bear Hugs, Shirley Temple and Lucky Penny, and they can be blended to match hair color or a chosen style. Lash extensions usually last 2-3 weeks, depending on care and individual factors. The studio notes that extensions do not damage natural lashes when properly applied, but plucking, tugging, rubbing or sleeping on lashes can. Prices are Lash Removal at $25 (about 30 minutes), Mini Lash Fill at $50 (a 1-week refill, about 1 hour), Standard Lash Fill at $85 (a 2-3 week refill, about 2 hours), Transfer Fill at $120 (for clients moving from another lash artist, about 2 hours 30 minutes) and Full Set at $180 (any style and shade for full coverage, about 3 hours). Clients should arrive without eye makeup or bring remover to take it off before the service. Cancellations or reschedules need at least 24 hours' notice; later changes may be charged up to 50% of the service, and a no-show without notice is charged 100% to the card on file. Late arrivals receive only the remaining appointment time. Fills with less than 40% of lashes left may be charged as a full set or rescheduled as one. Any guests must be communicated to the artist before the appointment, and children who cannot care for themselves may not attend. Payment is taken at the end of the appointment by cash (preferred when possible), Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, Zelle or card.
