Areola Artistry

Areola Artistry is a paramedical tattoo and permanent makeup studio at its Glendale, Arizona location, led by owner and artist Dana Dion. Much of the work centers on people who have had a mastectomy, including breast cancer survivors and previvors, along with scar camouflage, areola restoration and skin tone blending.

Visits are by appointment only, in a private studio the business describes as trauma-informed. Travel appointments can be arranged on request, and the studio serves clients across the country. Bookings are made through a Vagaro booking page linked from the website.

The studio says it is referred by Mayo Clinic Arizona, City of Hope, Comprehensive Breast Center, Ironwood Cancer Center and breast surgeons in Arizona, Chicago and California, and describes itself as the top referral for Mayo Clinic Arizona and City of Hope. It has been featured on ABC15 Sonoran Living, in Voyage Phoenix Magazine and on KFNN 1100 Radio. The studio also partners with Check for a Lump, providing event sponsorship and support.

Treatments are shaped around each client's skin tone and needs, with a focus on care for people rebuilding or covering areas affected by surgery, burns or scarring.
