The spa was founded by Katie Weant, who came to skincare after studying dance and theater and pursuing musical theater in New York City. She later worked more than five years in high-end spas in New York City before returning to North Carolina to open her own business.

The menu is built around customized facials. The 60-minute Customized Facial, starting at $140, includes a double cleanse, toner, exfoliation, extractions, a targeted mask, and a massage of the chest, neck, arms and scalp. It is suited to combination, dry, sensitive, acne-prone and oily skin, and the spa suggests booking every four to six weeks, or every two to four weeks for specific concerns.

The 75-minute Aquarius Anti Aging Sculpt and Lift Facial, starting at $220, combines facial massage, lymphatic drainage, microcurrent and LED light therapy, and is recommended every four to six weeks. The 90-minute microinfusions are the Anti-Aging Afterglow Microinfusion, which uses AfterGlo serum, and the PDRN Glass Skin Microinfusion, which uses PDRN derived from salmon DNA and includes a take-home PDRN mask. Both are $375, both require a $50 deposit, and both can be booked in a series, with a series of three to six PDRN treatments recommended every four to six weeks.

Add-ons range from $10 to $60 and include an eye mask, gua sha with a jade stone tool, aromatherapy scalp massage, facial cupping, hand and foot scrubs, microcurrent lift, Celluma LED mask, a PDRN recovery mask and a 25% glycolic chemical peel. The Aquarius Glow Membership costs $95 a month and includes one Customized Facial and 10% off skincare; its credits roll over, can be gifted or applied to advanced services and add-ons, and it has no long-term commitment. Packages include a 3-pack of PDRN microinfusions at $975 and a Premium 6-pack at $1,650.
