Guests typically begin with their pick of either a French press of locally roasted coffee or a glass of wine. Every appointment comes with a consultation, a scalp massage and aromatherapy, plus a choice of one treatment: a soothing scalp option, a botanical repair strengthening treatment, or a Nutriplenish deep moisture treatment, none of which carries an extra fee. The salon guarantees its services for two weeks from the service date and makes complimentary adjustments for any guest who isn't fully satisfied.

Pricing is genderless and all-inclusive, and treatments and toners are not sold as add-ons. Haircuts are priced by length from short to 2XL and by the time required, with an extra fee for XL waist and 2XL below-waist hair. Color is time-based, so clients pay for the color used, and custom color pricing is based on hair needs through a partnership with Vish technology. Color services are made with 100% vegan, cruelty-free Aveda products, with up to 96% naturally derived, plant-based ingredients such as sunflower, castor and jojoba oils. Makeup uses mainly Smashbox Makeup, and extensions use hair from Vomor and Hairlosophy that the salon describes as ethically sourced.

Team members take monthly continuing education in haircut, color and styling trends. Emerging artists take clients within five weeks of starting and work on the floor within six months, moving through three phases that cover color formulation, haircutting, balayage, extensions, keratin treatments and perms.

The salon is a Green Circle Salon, which it describes as a net zero carbon impact and waste salon. Working with Green Circle, it recycles 95% of its salon waste and reweighs its color bowl after each color application. The salon says it is working toward becoming a net-zero carbon impact salon.
