The salon describes its setting as chic and upscale, similar in feel to Newbury Street but without the high prices. Coffee, tea, water, WiFi and parking are complimentary. Clients are asked to arrange childcare elsewhere during appointments.

Color is done with the NaYo yogurt-based system, which is free of ammonia and PPD dyes. The salon sells its own Anthony David natural line, made without sulfates, parabens or sodium chloride, and also offers a wide selection of all-natural hair products.

Services are priced a la carte, except haircuts, which include a blowout; curly, coarse or thick hair may carry an extra charge based on time and length. New clients can request an appointment through the site form, by phone or by email, and existing clients can book online. Hours are Tuesday to Friday 10:00 am to 7::00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, closed Sunday and Monday.

Cancellations need at least 24 hours' notice; otherwise half the cost of the missed appointment is due before the next booking, and Tuesday cancellations must be made by closing on the Saturday before. Problems with a service should be reported within 5 days, and re-dos are performed by the same stylist unless management arranges otherwise. Clients who book every three to five weeks are advised to book two appointments ahead. Bridal services can be booked at the salon for the bride and bridal party, or at the bride's home for makeup and hair, with a pre-wedding consultation generally held beforehand to learn about the bride's personality and style. Wedding services need three weeks' notice and a 40% deposit, which is fully refunded if cancelled.

Each appointment begins with a personal consultation to determine the client's needs before styling, and the work relies on natural products and a yogurt-based color system.
