Anita X Nails is on the second floor of a building at 5332 Geary Boulevard in San Francisco. Its menu centers on hard gel manicures, Gel-X extensions, gel manicures, custom nail designs, and Japanese and Korean nail art. The salon describes itself as possibly the best nail artist in SF.

Gel-X is a clear soft-gel overlay set on pre-formed nail shapes. It is cured under UV light and applied over the full natural nail. Forms come in coffin, stiletto, round and square shapes, and the length can be customized.

Prices differ for new and existing clients. The removal add-on, priced from $10 to $40, is offered to new clients, while the Only Remove service, at $35 or more, is for existing clients. Existing clients can also book a combined visit of hard gel manicure, simple design and removal, and for complex designs they are asked to send pictures before the appointment.

Nail design add-ons start at $20 and take about 20 minutes. Clients who want a quote send inspiration photos before the appointment.

Teeth whitening can be booked with any service for $100, reduced from $150. The treatment takes about an hour, results last three to six months, and can lighten teeth by four to five shades.
