A gel manicure covers filing, shaping, pushing back and tidying the cuticles, and finishes with a hand massage. A builder gel manicure is a dry process that uses an electric drill with bits to file and remove cuticles, and it takes longer than a standard gel manicure. Gel X appointments run from about two to two and a half hours depending on length.
Removal is priced separately. A soak off takes the top layer off and dissolves acrylic in acetone, while a foreign soak off is for sets that were not applied by the technician at this studio.
Waxing is available for eyebrows, underarms, half legs (from the knee down) and full legs (thighs, knees and lower legs). Appointments are short, from about ten minutes for brows to roughly an hour for a full leg.
Booking requires a deposit that varies by service, and cancellations need at least 24 hours' notice to avoid a fee. Missed appointments without notice also carry a fee. Clients can call or text to change an appointment, and gift cards are offered. Buy Now, Pay Later is available in person for bookings from $50 to $4,000, subject to approval before the appointment. Hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10 AM to 7 PM, Tuesday and Thursday 10 AM to 5 PM, Saturday 9 AM to 12 PM, and the studio is closed on Sundays.
