Angie Hair Salon

Angie Hair Salon was founded in 2016 by hairstylist Angelica Morales. The first location, at Peoria Street and Mississippi Avenue in the heart of Aurora, opened that year and is easy to reach. A second location at Buckley Road and Mexico Avenue, in an area east of central Aurora, opened in January 2023.

The salon's stated aim is to be a welcoming place for families in Aurora and the wider Denver Metro Area. It serves women, men and children, so one visit can cover a parent, a teenager and a younger child. The salon says it keeps high standards of professionalism and cleanliness at both locations.

Services cover a broad range. Family haircuts are offered for women, men and children. Barber services include classic and contemporary men's cuts and styles, fades and beard trims. For events there are styling and updos, including blowouts. Color work runs from full color transformations and subtle highlights to ombre and balayage. Hair and scalp treatments are aimed at dryness, flakiness or damage, and the salon also offers eyebrow and lip waxing, perms for curls or waves, and threading.

The salon says stylists keep their skills current through ongoing education. Staff include Spanish speakers.
