The Mane Atelier is the working name of Angela Goff Styling, located at 7263 Nolensville Rd in Nolensville. Owner Angela Goff works as an extension artist and color specialist, describes a 25-year career in extensions, and also mentors other extension artists.
Every visit begins with a consultation, which determines the length and number of rows for the extensions. A phone consultation for extensions is offered at no charge, and an in-salon consultation is also listed at no charge. Exact extension pricing is set after an appointment request, and price estimates require an extension request form with front and back photos of current hair and an optional inspiration photo.
Extension packages include color, extension hair, installation, cut, style and Oribe products, and color packages include foiling, glosses, root shadows and an Oribe mask and styling. New installations come in one, two and three rows at 18 and 22 inches, with a 26-inch two-row option. Two and three row installations include the Signature Extension Care Product Box. Between full installations, weft move-ups every six to eight weeks cover removal, gloss or tonal balance, re-install, shampoo, blowout and style, with or without color.
Beyond client work, the studio offers mentorship for extension artists. In The Salon with Angela is a one-on-one day in the salon with four chosen specialty topics, and virtual mentoring is a one-hour session covering two to three chosen topics. The Angela Goff Collective is a monthly membership with weekly check-ins, group calls, real-time questions during appointments and monthly videos. The studio describes its mentorship as aiming to increase access to education for extension artists.
The studio works from the view that no single extension method suits every guest, so each person is matched with a method during consultation. Mentoring is offered in a judgement-free way to extension artists at all experience levels.
