Angel Braids runs a braid bar for adults and children across two Los Angeles locations: the main shop at 2602 S Hill St, Los Angeles, CA 90007, and a second location at 1080 S La Cienega, suite 305, Los Angeles, CA 90035. The founder, Ngopang Nadege, has 15 years of braiding experience, according to the salon.

The salon does not provide or sell hair, so clients bring their own. Clients who arrive without washed and blow-dried hair can have those done on site for an extra $50, or $25 for a wash and $25 for a blow-dry. Mixing colors adds $30 and up.

Appointments can be booked or changed online through the booking platform or by phone at (213) 562-9696. A deposit is required: 35% from returning clients and 45% from new clients, applied to the final bill. New clients pay before service begins. The salon recommends booking at least a week ahead, though walk-ins are accepted without a guarantee.

After a braid is finished, clients have one hour to look over the style and ask for changes. If hair was partly braided at another shop, Angel Braids can take it down for free and redo it at the appropriate charge, though it cannot continue that work. Within three days of a service, clients can come back for a minor fix at no fee. Refunds are not offered.

Hours are Monday to Thursday 9 AM to 5 PM, Friday and Saturday 7 AM to 7 PM, and Sunday 9 AM to 3 PM (PST). Children must stay in the waiting area with an adult watching them, as the salon prefers no children in the chair area. Payment is accepted by cash, Zelle, credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Venmo and PayPal.

The salon says it holds high ethical standards and professionalism with clients, and describes its work as tailored, with premium products and expert guidance.
