Anahit's Lash & Eyebrow Studio

Anahit's Lash & Eyebrow Studio is a one-person practice located in Suite 46 at Sola Salon Studios on West Beverly Boulevard in Montebello. Anahit Poghosyan carries out every treatment herself, so each client is seen by the same artist throughout. Bookings are required; walk-ins are not accepted. For parking, the studio suggests using the rear lot near Goodwill rather than the front lot beside Vons.

Each new client begins with a consultation covering their goals, daily lifestyle, and the health of their lashes and brows. Anahit then maps length, curl, shape, and color to the client's own features, and designs each lash set or brow shape around that client rather than a current trend. Throughout, the aim is to protect natural lashes and brows.

The menu spans lashes, brows, and lips. Lash extensions are individual synthetic fibers applied one at a time to natural lashes with a medical-grade adhesive, in classic, hybrid, and volume styles; full sets usually take 1.5 to 2.5 hours, with fills every 2 to 3 weeks. Lash lifts curl natural lashes with a lifting solution and silicone shield, use no added lashes, and take about 45 to 60 minutes; an optional tint can be added. Brow services include shaping with mapping, precision waxing, and tweezing, brow lamination that sets brow hairs in place without needles or pigment, and permanent makeup brows that use a cosmetic tattoo technique for a soft, powdered fill. Lip blush is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo that adds color and defines the lip border with pigment matched to the client's skin tone.

Many clients have returned for five years or more, and some have been coming for close to a decade. The studio's website describes this as loyal clients over 13 years. Clients travel from across the East LA area, including Artesia, Compton, Rosemead, and Pico Rivera.

Anahit also teaches one-on-one and small-group lessons in lash and brow artistry at the studio, covering every service on the menu. Lessons include equipment, a mannequin to practice on, a printed manual, and a certificate of completion. Lesson pricing and availability are given by call or text. Lash or brow services and lessons can be combined in one visit if the client mentions it when booking.

Each lash set and brow shape is designed around the client's features and lifestyle rather than a trend, with techniques and products chosen to protect natural lashes and brows.
