Shear Serenity Salon is a solo studio in Lone Tree, set inside Solera Salon. Amy Dorow owns the business and does the work herself, serving women, men and children.

Amy has more than 20 years in the cosmetology industry. She keeps her skills current through hands-on classes, hair shows and continuing education each year, so her work reflects current trends and fashions.

Hours run Monday and Tuesday from noon to 7 PM, Wednesday and Thursday from 11 AM to 7 PM, and Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11 AM to 5 PM. Clients may pay by cash, Venmo, Zelle or check, with credit or debit cards accepted when needed. If an appointment is cancelled less than 24 hours ahead, the full price of the service is requested.

Color pricing is set in a few ways. Partial and full highlights include one color, with extra colors at $20 each. Specialty color and color correction is priced at $200 per hour, and a three-hour appointment is listed at $200. Bayalage and ombre start at $210.

Keratin treatments are offered in two versions. The Keratin Express Treatment, listed at $250 for about one hour, is aimed at frizzy, curly or unruly hair and lasts six to eight weeks. The full Keratin Treatment, listed at $475 for two hours, is for frizzy or curly hair and lasts three to four months.
