Amour Nails Studio is a private nail suite in Plano rather than a traditional salon, so each client has the space to themselves and receives more individual attention than a busy floor usually allows. The suite is arranged for relaxation, with a touch of luxury.
The menu is grouped into dipping, manicure, nail enhancement, pedicure and waxing. Manicures include basic, gel and gel French options, plus hand polish changes, most booked for 30 minutes. Gel manicures are cured under LED light, have a base coat meant to help prevent lifting, and can be filed off with an e-file without a soak. Pedicures range from a basic 30-minute visit, which includes trimming, shaping, cuticle care, exfoliation, callus removal and a short massage, to a 40-minute deluxe option with a hot towel wrap and a choice of hot stone massage or paraffin. The 50-minute Amour Pedicure uses natural products, an organic scrub, a hot towel wrap, hot stone massage and paraffin, with a 15-minute massage.
Nail enhancements cover acrylic full sets and fills, in standard and color powder versions, plus ombre and Solar Pink and White full sets. Gel-X is a pre-shaped full-cover tip system with a set length, applied with LED curing and minimal filing; it includes cuticle care, length and shape, and removal of an earlier Gel-X set, with other removals charged extra. Builder gel is an overlay on natural nails only, with no extension, and is suited to short to medium natural nails. Dip powder, also called SNS or NexGen, is applied with resin without UV or LED light, on natural nails or with extensions. Removal requires an acetone soak, and dip sets cannot be refilled, so the full set is taken off and redone.
Waxing is offered for eyebrows, lips and chin, and eyebrow tinting is available as well.
The studio is open Monday to Wednesday from 10:00 am to 7:30 pm and Sunday from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm; it is closed Thursday to Saturday. Bookings and questions can go to (469) 750-7882 or amournailsstudio@gmail.com. Payment is taken through Square checkout.
