Amethyst Nail Studio works with one client at a time, so each appointment is one-on-one. The studio space is bright and sunny and sits apart from the main salon area, which gives visits a quieter, more private feel.

The menu centers on nail services. A standard manicure takes about an hour and includes cuticle pushing and shaping, nail shaping, removal of debris and rough edges, a hand massage, and polish in the color of the client's choice. A gel manicure takes about 40 minutes, with gel polish cured under LED light, and the studio describes it as lasting up to two weeks. InFill appointments, about an hour, fill existing enhancements with hard gel or acrylic and finish them with gel polish.

The studio also offers custom nail designs, including 3D inlay and sculpted nails in acrylic and gel, and polygel, a blend of acrylic and gel applied over natural nails. It carries a wide range of regular and gel polish colors and says it keeps adding to that selection. Monthly specials introduce clients to services they may not have tried, and a referral program lets clients earn free service upgrades.

The studio says its services are reasonably priced and that a detailed price list is on its website. Its stated priorities are quality, sanitation, and customer satisfaction. It also says its sanitation practices go beyond state requirements: metal tools are scrubbed, soaked in hospital-grade disinfectant, and sterilized in a high-heat machine, while brushes, files, and hard plastic items are scrubbed and soaked in disinfectant. Chairs, tables, and curing lamps are sprayed with hospital-grade disinfectant, and single-use items such as toe separators, pedicure liners, single-use files, and orange sticks are thrown away after each use.

The studio says it aims to keep natural nails healthy and that nail enhancements should not damage them when they are properly applied, maintained, and removed.
