The salon is run by founder Brenda Cummings, a stylist who has been working with clients for more than 30 years. It sits beside the Chamber of Commerce on Gateway Blvd., across from Cantina Louie. It is open Tuesday through Friday from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Sundays are closed, and Mondays are by appointment only. Facials are a major part of the menu. They are done with an LED device from Empire Tech that offers four colors of light, and every facial includes the salon's signature red light and LED treatment. Options range from a 30-minute express facial for teens and a 45-minute back facial to a 60-minute signature facial priced at $145. Add-ons such as high frequency, microcurrent, dermaplaning, lymphatic drainage, chemical peel, microdermabrasion, microneedling and nano-needling can be combined with a facial. Microneedling and nano-needling are priced per session, and the salon suggests one to 10 sessions for the results a client is after. Nano-needling does not include an infusion. The red light offering spans the Prism Light Pod and wand and bed-style sessions. The Prism Light Pod is a private, individual, 15-minute full-body session. Single sessions cost $50, with packages of 3, 6 or 12 sessions and an unlimited monthly plan also available. Hair services cover cuts, color and highlights, keratin treatments, ombres, balayage, extensions, styling, updos and hair restoration. Women's cuts start at $75 and men's cuts cost $50. Color work starts at $145, and treatments such as keratin, ombre, balayage, extensions and updos are priced after a consultation. The salon offers Theradome heat cap hair restoration, which it describes as the only location in the community offering that technology. Massage menus include Swedish, sports deep tissue, reflexology and prenatal sessions in 30, 60 or 90 minute lengths, with add-ons such as hot stones, aromatherapy, cupping and CBD oil. Nail services include manicures and pedicures with gel and French polish options, and a detox ion foot bath. Waxing is performed in a private room. Tanning is done in a 15-minute Solar Storm bed, with single sessions, packages and a monthly plan, and indoor tanning products are sold on site. Clients should give at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or changes, though emergencies are considered. Missed appointments without notice may be charged a full-service fee, and no-call, no-show appointments may be charged full price. The salon also reserves the right to end any session if a client behaves inappropriately.
