Ambiance Spa & Salon is located within The Claremont Club. The business is under new ownership, and its owners also run Refuge, a spa in Carmel that the salon describes as award-winning, as well as the salon at CVAC. The salon says it aims to offer the best spa and salon services in town.

The space has 17 salon chairs, a separate private barber shop with three chairs, six manicure and pedicure stations and eight treatment rooms for massage and esthetic services. Onsite child care is available, and the salon describes the atmosphere as welcoming and comfortable.

Clients can book by phone or by text. The salon is open Monday from 11 AM to 7 PM, Tuesday through Thursday from 8 AM to 8:30 PM, Friday from 8 AM to 7 PM, Saturday from 8 AM to 4 PM and Sunday from 10 AM to 2 PM. Bridal up-dos and regular up-dos need a consultation before the event, and corrective color is priced at the consultation.

Cancellations need 24 hours notice. Cancellations or no-shows with less notice may be charged up to 50% of the scheduled service price. Late clients may be accommodated, but treatment can be shortened to finish on time, and the normal fee still applies. Children without a service appointment must stay in the onsite child care facilities.
