Facials range from a 30-minute mini facial and a 40-minute back facial to Amb's Customized Facial, a 60-minute session that begins with a skin analysis and continues with a treatment tailored to the client, starting at $100. Specialized treatments address acne and hyperpigmentation and include advanced extractions and facial cupping, which uses a single suction cup moved across the face. The spa is certified in oncology esthetics and offers an Oncology Facial at a special rate for people living with cancer, using pure skin care products. A Gentlemen's Facial, starting at $100 and 60 minutes or longer, targets shaving bumps and irritation.
The massage menu includes relaxation, targeted, deep tissue, prenatal and hot stone massage, along with therapeutic scalp massage, reflexology, acupressure and a head and sole massage that pairs scalp work with reflexology. Targeted massage focuses on areas such as the neck, back, hands and feet. Add-ons include aromatherapy, CBD oil for the full body, target area work, hot stones and full-body cupping.
Sessions may include yoga, a 15-minute consultation, affirmations, aromatherapy and breath work. The spa describes sound healing as ancient wisdom that it says today's science supports. Singing bowl sessions are not suitable for people with pacemakers. Sliding scale pricing for sound therapy is available by emailing the spa. Other wellness offerings include smudging with frankincense resin, ear candling paired with lymphatic massage, a Thai steam sauna using herbs or citrus, and Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy. The Arvigo visit begins with a 2-hour intake session and is followed by 90-minute sessions. Clients fill out an intake form first, and the therapy is not intended as primary health care and is not offered in certain situations, such as within the first six weeks after childbirth or when an infection is present.
Yoni steam sessions last 40 minutes, and first visits should allow 60 minutes. The spa uses certified organic or wildcrafted herbs, spices and flowers, and can also use mineral salts with organic rose petals or lavender. Harmony is a group steam for up to six women in one room. Yoni steams are not offered during a menstrual cycle, fever, pregnancy or possible pregnancy, with an IUD, during heavy menses, or with open cuts, wounds, stitches or sores. The yoni steam room opened in October 2015. Retreats combine services in one visit, from the 2-hour Renewal Retreat to the 2.5-hour Tranquil Retreat, and the Bliss Retreat is reserved for solo guests only. Retreat meals, including vegan options, are included, but lodging is not included for one-on-one sessions.
Appointments require a valid credit or debit card on file, and a 50% deposit may be required for certain services, packages or events. Cancellations need at least 24 hours' notice, and late cancellations and no-shows may be charged up to the full reserved service. Arriving 15 minutes or more late may be treated as a no-show, and treatment time may be shortened. Guests are asked to arrive 5 to 10 minutes early. Cancellation fees may be waived at the spa's discretion when illness is the reason and notice is given in advance. Accepted payments include cash, major credit cards, Zelle and Apple Pay. Children are welcome with a scheduled appointment but are asked not to accompany guests during services. Gift certificates can be used toward any service, product or package but are not transferable or redeemable for cash. Customary gratuities range from 15 to 20 percent.
