About

Amanda Hyde opened her own studio after years of work in salons and day spas. She spent 17 years in Hollywood and West Hollywood before moving back to the Central Valley in 2020, and the studio at 722 Pollasky in Old Town Clovis has been her base since then.

The studio has a single private treatment room and one esthetician, so each client has the space and attention to themselves. It is open Tuesday through Saturday by appointment, booked online through Vagaro. Free street parking is available on Pollasky, and the studio is entered through a gate at the business called The Lien Machine.

New clients begin with The First Visit, an 85-minute facial and skin assessment that ends with a plan for next steps. Peels are reserved for established clients, as are several other treatments, including Quiet Skin, The Clearing, Brightwork, Just Peachy, The Current and The Long Way. Teens 18 and younger can book the Teen Skin Session, and Fire & Ice and The Cool Down Facial make up the seasonal menu.

Changes to bookings need at least 48 hours notice to avoid a fee, and late cancellations are charged half the service cost while no-shows are charged in full. New clients prepay a 50% deposit, refundable with 48 hours notice. Children under 12 need childcare arranged during appointments. Clients are asked to arrive with a clean face when possible, to avoid significant sun or tanning for 48 to 72 hours beforehand, and to pause retinol and exfoliating products for 2 to 3 days before peels and certain corrective treatments unless told otherwise.

Reads the skin at every visit and adjusts the treatment from there, favoring fundamentals and repetition with few variables changed at once.

A quiet, private treatment room with one client at a time.
