Blowouts are a core part of the menu. Four named styles are priced at $49 each: The Influencer gives soft waves with medium root volume and flat ends for collarbone-length to long hair; The Bombshell is a voluminous, 90s-inspired finish for medium to long layered hair; The Rachel is a sleek, smooth style that suits any length and texture; and The Beauty Queen is an extremely voluminous look with pinned and barrel curls. A Signature Blowout and Style runs about 45 minutes and includes a wash and styling finish, and is recommended as a 1-hour-plus visit for thick or extra-long hair or hair with extensions. The Dream Coat smoothing blowdry uses the Color Wow Dream Coat treatment for a smooth finish that the salon says lasts up to three washes; the salon describes the treatment as award-winning. Clients can add a Pin Set Finish for $15, and the pins go home with them. For a formal style without a blowdry, clients are asked to arrive with clean, dry hair no more than 24 hours old.

ALO North is the only location offering headspa treatments, which take place in private rooms. Three treatments are offered: ALO Express at $170 (45 minutes, booked as an hour), ALO Equinox at $195 (60 minutes, booked as 1 hour 20 minutes), and Signature Solstice at $250 (90 minutes, booked as 1 hour 45 minutes). Each begins with a scalp analysis done under a digital microscope, which the specialist shows the client live. Clients complete an intake form beforehand, and treatments are tailored to their concerns and goals. The salon states that its headspa treatments are guided by Ayurvedic, cosmic and biodynamic approaches to scalp wellness. Oway botanical products are used, along with a scalp steam, restorative mask and Hydro-Dhara waterfall rinse. Headspa specialists have completed over 250 hours of massage training. A blowdry is not included, but it can be added at $12 off when bundled with a headspa service.

Color and cuts are priced by stylist. Full color starts at $290 for a full head with 12 or more weeks of regrowth or a transformative change, maintenance color starts at $250 for hairline to low crown with 6 or more weeks of regrowth or a refresh, and mini color starts at $210 for hairline and part with less than 6 weeks of regrowth or a top-up. Final color prices are given at consultation. Custom work includes highlights, lowlights, teasylights, balayage, reverse balayage and transformational color. Single process color includes a root retouch for up to 8 weeks of new growth, a gloss or toner, and an all-over semi or permanent deposit. New color clients receive a guest application and color consent form by email when booking, and must complete intake forms before approval.

Hair extensions are offered with GAIA, Bellami, Habit Hair, Great Lengths, and Genius and Volume sew-in wefts and K-Tips. New guests need an extension consultation before booking, and a 50% deposit is due after the consultation to finalize. First installs cannot be booked online. Maintenance options include Genius Weft reinstalls for 6 to 8 weeks of grow-out, weft tune-ups with or without a blowdry, and K-Tip reinstallations, which are booked by text. Hair Botox Treatment and the Cezanne Keratin Treatment are also offered; the Cezanne option is formaldehyde-free and lasts up to 5 months in its Classic form or 4 weeks in its Express form. The ALOglow treatment combines essential oils, hot towels, a scalp and hand massage, crystals, a Hydro-Dhara and flower fall rinse, and a blowout for $100.

ALO Beauty Social Club is a membership at $195 per month, or $270 for thick or long hair. Members receive four monthly blowouts, one free upgrade each month, 10% off product purchases, and access to an exclusive member blowout at member pricing. Additional blowouts cost $45 each. Membership requires a three-month commitment, unused blowouts roll over for 21 days, and membership can be paused or cancelled at any time. Gift cards are also available.

The salon describes its mission as guiding clients toward healthier hair from roots to tips. Products are chosen with a stated conscious approach to color, styling products and service materials.
