Allure Skin Studio has been operating in Lemont since February 2015. It is an age management and acne studio that welcomes both men and women, and its work centers on acne care and anti-aging skin treatments.

About

The Acne Program is open to adults and teens 14 and older. New clients start with either an in-office Acne Consultation or an Acne Consultation with a Detox Treatment. The Acne Detox Treatment, which is required before joining the program, includes acne enzymes, extractions, a mask, a Skin Repair acne tool and LED light therapy, and is recommended weekly, every other week or monthly depending on acne grade. Ongoing treatments are priced at $70 weekly, $75 to $85 every other week, and $90 monthly, with the detox starting at $95 for existing clients. Virtual follow-ups take place every two weeks by Zoom, FaceTime or phone and should be allotted at least 30 minutes when starting. The studio says most Acne Program clients reach clear skin in four to six months without prescription drugs. Minors must be booked under the child's name using an adult's contact details and must be accompanied by an adult at appointments.

Acne Program clients buy the custom-curated Face Reality Skincare products to receive treatments at the studio. The products typically cost about $200 to $250, and skincare products are not refundable for hygiene and safety reasons. Unopened items can be returned within seven days for store credit only, and that credit has no cash value and can be used for products or services at the studio.

Allure Skin Studio offers PRX Derm Perfexion, an Italian collagen bio-stimulation treatment applied to the face, neck, stomach and hands. The studio lists it for stretch marks, sagging, acne scars, melasma, fine lines, wrinkles, enlarged pores and dullness. There is no downtime, though slight redness can appear and typically settles within a few hours. For best results the studio suggests four sessions spaced a week apart, with the final number depending on the outcome a client is after. According to the studio, the treatment is revolutionary. Other offerings include a PDRN Renew facial before an event, a Rosacea Relieve facial, lash lifts and tints, and eyebrow lamination with silk tint.

Appointments can be changed by calling (630) 570-0391. Cancellations need 24 hours notice, and a late cancellation or no-show is charged the full reserved service amount. Card payments carry a 3.99% fee, while Zelle, personal check and cash are accepted without extra charge. Gift cards are available as eGift cards in amounts of $75, $85, $100, $150 or a custom value, and group gift cards let several people pool money toward one recipient. The studio's virtual Acne Consultation is $80, and acne ebooks are $49 and not included in that fee.
