Appointments are booked online up to two months ahead and are held with a credit card. Clients confirm within 48 hours or the booking is canceled. For braids, twists, locs and protective styles, a 30-minute consultation costs $30, and the stylist recommends treatments, styles or a haircut. Color work begins with a color consultation for first-time color, new clients, corrective color and color changes, and a patch, strand, porosity and elasticity test is done before color to check eligibility. Demi/semi color is an add-on at $35 and permanent color starts at $70; neither can be booked alone. Services are chosen at booking, since they cannot be added once the client is in the chair.
Some policies apply to every visit. A $50 non-refundable retainer is required within 48 hours of scheduling for services totaling $200 or more, and it counts toward the price. Clients who arrive with previous braids, twists or extensions still in must have them removed first, or a $50 fee may be added. Arriving more than 15 minutes late cancels the appointment and triggers a no-call, no-show fee of 50% of the scheduled services. Cancellations within 24 hours are charged 50% of the service to the card used to book. Children are welcome only when they are being serviced and cannot be left unattended. Gift cards are offered, and balances can be checked on the website.
