Brow appointments begin with a short consultation, then shaping, then a conversation about color. Microblading and microshading are booked as a series of at least two sessions spaced 8 to 12 weeks apart, and the second visit includes a complimentary enhancement session. Clients are asked not to tweeze, thread, wax or otherwise alter their brows before the appointment, and to avoid doing so for as long as possible, and no later than two weeks before. Clients must be 18 or older for microblading, and cosmetic tattooing is not performed on pregnant or nursing clients. The business says a pre-numbing anesthetic is applied before and during brow procedures, and that microblading and microshading suit people with full brows as well as those with none. It describes microblading as lasting roughly 18 to 24 months and microshading up to three years, without a guarantee, and recommends a yearly touch-up.
