All Aglow Spa

All Aglow Spa was created in 2020 in a historic 1936 building, with an interior that draws on Art Deco style. It began as All Aglow Lashes & Esthetics, a solo practice, and was renamed in February 2020. The spa sits at street level on West Meeker, west of the railroad tracks, with street parking for up to two hours before 5 p.m. and unlimited parking at the Kent Station Garage and Titus Parking Lot. Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekends. Guests can call, text, or book online.

Sessions open with a talk about each guest's health history, tension levels and aims, and the therapist then changes firmness and where they focus. CBD massage is done with a heavier cream. Face services include Nanochanneling, massage-centered European facials, peel treatments, care for rosacea and breakouts, a cell-renewal anti-aging treatment, and oxygen infusion, each tailored to skin type and offered to men, women and teenagers. Light peels bring no recovery time, while medium peels cause peeling over a few days. Body options are a mud wrap or an exfoliating body scrub, both finished with a moisturizing body butter. Couples massage, facials and spa days can be booked for two in a shared room.

Treatment rooms include five tables, one cozier and three extra spacious, plus a sauna for two, an infrared sauna cabin with 15-minute sessions, and front and back lounges. Robes, slippers, and waffle-weave wraps are provided, along with complimentary filtered water, herbal tea, and wine or beer; no hard alcohol is served. There is no shower on site. Phones must be off or in airplane mode before entering, and overhead lights are kept off until the end of the day. Private parties for up to 12 guests can include custom food and refreshments on request. Gift cards are sold online and in the menu, and a $25 gift card toward a second visit is offered after a first appointment. SpaFinder gift cards are accepted for services, but not for gratuity, cash value, or retail.

The Self-Care Society offers two monthly membership programs. The Original Self-Care Plan includes a 90-minute custom therapeutic massage each month, with unused services kept on the account for 90 days, a complimentary 30-minute massage and sauna visit for a guest during the birthday month, 10% off services and gift shop products, and the option to swap the massage for a 90-minute facial at $40. The Silver program costs $139 a month and includes a 60-minute massage, with upgrade options and the ability to switch to the Original plan later. Both plans can be paused or cancelled, with 30 days' notice for cancellation. Calm-Hearted, a 12-step group for women, meets weekly on Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m. at the spa, and attendees may listen without sharing; printed workbooks are $10. The spa states it is involved in community improvement and wellness events, and that it has received Kent Reporter Reader's Choice awards, BusinessRate Best Spa awards for 2023 through 2025, and 2025 Community Votes platinum awards, per the spa.

Gratuity is not expected, though envelopes are at the front desk and tips can be left on the card at checkout. The spa does not direct-bill insurance but can provide superbills and forms for reimbursement. Minors are seen only for treatment with parental consent.
