The studio is open Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 AM to 6 PM, Thursday from 10 AM to 7 PM, and Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, and is closed Monday, Saturday and Sunday. Consultations start at $31 and run 30 minutes or more. They are required before some services, and certain consultation fees are applied as the deposit for that service and credited to the remaining balance. New clients for microloc retightening or traditional loc maintenance must book a transfer consultation first, since those services are reserved for existing clients. Clients whose last retightening was nine weeks or more ago are booked for an overdue retightening, and off-day retightenings must be confirmed verbally.
Maintenance and repair work is a large part of the menu. Detox Treatment deeply cleanses buildup such as lint, sweat and hard water minerals, and the studio suggests repeating it every four to six months. Loc Repairs address thinning, weak locs and slipped locs, and Loc Comb Out is available for clients who want their locs removed. Loc Sprinkles, lightweight permanent glitter threads or beads woven into individual locs, are also offered.
Booking policies are set out clearly. Cancellations or reschedules need at least 48 hours notice; shorter notice carries a fee of 40% of the service charge. Deposits are non-refundable, and no-shows are charged the full scheduled cost and may be restricted from future booking. Clients have a 20-minute grace period for late arrival or early departure. The studio does not currently accept adolescent clients.
The studio's work is centred on the long-term health, integrity and appearance of each client's locs.
