Alka Skin Therapy

Alka Skin Therapy works from two locations: one in Walnut Creek, California and one in Port Washington, New York, where the practice expanded later on. The founder, Alka Agrawal, runs the practice and is described by clients in reviews as an aesthetician.

The treatment menu is built around facials, corrective peels, specialized treatments and a holistic approach to skin therapy. Facials bring together current skincare tools and science with hands-on, healing touch, with the goal of supporting circulation and a healthy glow.

The clinic offers a range of skin treatments, among them collagen induction with fine needles, chemical peels aimed at aging skin and surface renewal, light-based therapy using red LEDs, and a sapphire-based exfoliation called Photo Abrasion. That last treatment works without heat and without suction, gliding a vibrating sapphire tip over the skin.

Each treatment is customized to the client's skin concerns. At the Port Washington location, the focus is customized care for acne, rosacea, hyperpigmentation and anti-aging, and clients are often given a home care routine to keep their skin in good shape between appointments.
