Other methods vary in time: tape-in takes 1.5 to 2.5 hours, hand-tied weft takes 3 to 5 hours and suits medium density or thicker hair, micro-link takes 2 to 4 hours and uses a copper bead, keratin bond takes 3 to 6 hours with maintenance every 3 to 6 months, and professional clip-in takes 1 to 2 hours and is removed nightly.
