Haircuts are planned as substantial appointments rather than quick trims. A precision cut includes a consultation about design, goals and upkeep, a wet cutting phase, a full blow-dry and a dry refinement phase, and the consultation for a haircut is included at no charge. The salon describes its cutting as architectural construction and its color work as design, chemistry and long-term hair planning rather than shade selection from a chart. Curly-hair cuts can be finished wet without a traditional blow-dry.
New clients begin with a First Consultation, which runs about 30 minutes with the stylist at the salon plus roughly 30 minutes of preparation and planning, at $50. That fee is separate from the reservation deposit. Displayed prices are starting, entry-level prices, and each client is quoted individually based on hair length, thickness, density, condition, products and total time. Quoted prices carry a flexibility range of up to $100, and very long, thick or dense hair may need more time and product. Major texture changes, chemical work and corrective color need a separate consultation and a technical plan, and significant color, corrective or major blonding work needs the stylist's approval after consultation.
Texture and repair services include ProAddiction smoothing and straightening, YUKO Japanese straightening, Ybera Apple Stem treatments, keratin options and several reconstruction and bonding treatments. Keratin is a temporary smoothing service rather than permanent straightening, and the formula is chosen after assessing the hair's condition, chemical history and heat tolerance. Chemical services require full disclosure of hair history, and a strand test may be required first. Hair extensions are not accepted and must be fully removed before a consultation or any service, and no advice or services are given while extensions remain installed, including for clients planning to install them.
Hair washing is done with the client reclining horizontally, using warm towels, steam and a scalp massage. Head spa treatments use a horizontal Spa-Mist bed and controlled steam. Refreshments are offered, and robes are provided for chemical procedures. Minor children are not allowed in the salon, and certified service animals are permitted when scheduled. Smoking is only outside, and the salon is video and audio recorded. Booking deposits are required, with a $100 minimum for new clients, a 50% deposit for major or transformation services, and a card kept on file for all reservations. Appointments must be confirmed at least 48 hours ahead, and late cancellations or changes within 48 hours may incur a fee of $100 for shorter appointments or 50% of the reserved price for major services.
