Albanese Electrolysis Studio

Albanese Electrolysis Studio is located at 199 Broad Street, Suite 1D, in Bloomfield, New Jersey. According to the studio, it has served Essex County for 30 years. The studio is a member of the American Electrology Association and the Electrologists Association of New Jersey.

Electrolysis is offered as permanent hair removal for facial and body areas, including the eyebrows, chin, lips, jaw line, breasts, underarms, abdomen, bikini line, legs and back. The studio uses shortwave (thermolysis) and blend methods on Apilus Senior and Fisher Compublend equipment, with sterile, disposable probes. Clients are given aftercare product recommendations suited to their skin and treatment plan.

Sessions are priced at $40 for 15 minutes (the minimum charge), $70 for 30 minutes, $90 for 45 minutes and $105 for 60 minutes. Walk-ins are welcome. Payment is due at the time of treatment, and cash, checks and major credit cards are accepted. The studio asks for 24 hours notice to cancel, asks clients to arrive on time because late arrivals can delay the next client, and may charge for no-shows or last-minute cancellations. Hours are Tuesday to Thursday 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM and Friday to Saturday 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

The studio works with athletes, teenagers, men needing beard, neck, ear, back or chest hair removal, people with darker skin or coarse or curly hair, people dealing with hormone changes or PCOS, and transgender people seeking facial and body hair removal.
