AL's Werk Shop

AL's Werk Shop opened in 2022, founded by Alexandra, who is also co-founder of BAS Studios. Alexandra holds an esthetician license from the Aveda Institute in Minneapolis, earned in 2018. Before opening the studio she worked in makeup and photography in Los Angeles, then returned to Minnesota in 2020 and concentrated on lash and waxing services.

The studio's main focus is lash extensions in Classic, Hybrid, Volume and Wispy styles. Fills are priced by how long they last: a Classic fill is offered at two or three weeks, a Hybrid fill at three weeks, and a Volume fill at two or three weeks. Full sets are available in Classic at $140 and Hybrid at $160, and a Classic set means one extension per natural lash. Most fills and sets take between 1 hour 30 minutes and 2 hours. Some bookings require a 50% deposit at the time of booking, including the Classic two-week fill, the two-week Volume fill, and both full sets.

For Volume fills, the studio gives guidance on when to come back: a three-week Volume fill is suggested when roughly 30 to 50 percent of the extensions remain, and a two-week Volume fill when about half remain.

Beyond lashes, the studio offers semi-permanent services including lash lifts and brow lamination, pigment services including tint, henna and stain, and waxing, facial and body services.

The studio is at 14135 Cedar Ave Suite 130 in Apple Valley. It is open Monday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, Tuesday through Thursday from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm, and closed Friday through Sunday.
