The stated mission is to provide high-quality treatments and to treat every guest with care and attention.

The spa describes its setting as Japanese-inspired. Its signature facials are the Akoya Signature Facial, a 75-minute treatment with polishing, manual extractions, a lotus kaolin mask and an antioxidant serum, and the Kansha Facial, a 60-minute treatment with a custom mask blended with lavender, chamomile, aloe and matcha from Shizuoka, Japan. Spa packages such as the Shirabe Package and the Misogi Package combine facials, massage and a relaxation ritual, and can be customized by calling the spa concierge.

Acne care is a major part of the menu. The spa offers an Acne-Clear Facial in 45 or 60 minutes, a back treatment, and a New Guest Facial with Consultation that leaves extra time for an in-depth talk with an esthetician. Its advanced acne options include a HydraAcne treatment combining a Hydrafacial, a light TCA peel and ALA light therapy, and Microneedle MD. The spa describes itself as the No. 1 Acne Clinic in Houston.

Massage and facial appointments begin with a consultation. Massage therapists at the spa are licensed. Prenatal massage is offered after the first trimester, and a Baby Bump Treatment is available for expectant mothers. Post-operative lymphatic drainage massage is offered after procedures such as liposuction or BBL, as directed by a physician.

Online booking asks for a credit card to hold the appointment. The card is not charged for the service and is only charged under the cancellation policy. Guests receive a courtesy reminder one day before the appointment by email, text or phone. The spa states it was voted Best Day Spa in 2021 and 2022 by popular vote.

Treatments are built around botanical-based paramedical skin care from the DMK line, with acne care using Face Reality and DMK products.
