Akia Fine Hair is a single-stylist studio at 300 S Clark Rd in Cedar Hill.

The studio focuses on sew-ins and wigs. Traditional sew-ins are designed to last, with a stated retention of 2 to 3 months, and Akia maintains each install so the style holds up longer and can be refreshed when needed. Custom wigs, lace frontals, layered styles and glueless lace closures are also offered.

The salon describes its results as luxury and says its work suits all hair types and conditions. Akia's stated priority is healthy hair, with care given to the client's natural hair as well as the style.

Hours are Thursday and Friday from 6:30 AM to 7 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 6:30 AM to 5 PM. The studio is closed Monday through Wednesday.

Buy Now, Pay Later is available for in-person bookings between $50 and $4,000, subject to approval before the appointment. Clients should tell the studio about any delay, and there is a 10-minute grace period. Cancelling less than 48 hours ahead or not showing up means the deposit is kept. Cancelling with less than 24 hours' notice means paying the difference between the deposit and 25% of the service price, and a no-show is charged the difference between the deposit and 50% of the service price.
