About

Ai Beauté Skin Spa sits on Nob Hill in San Francisco and specializes in HydraFacial. The business says its estheticians have been performing treatments since 2007 and have specialized in HydraFacial since 2012. Every client receives treatment with the HydraFacial Syndeo system.

The menu starts with a Basic HydraFacial at $235, a 50-minute visit that includes exfoliation, a glycolic peel, suction extraction, antioxidant and peptide serums, LED light therapy, and a soothing mask. A Deluxe HydraFacial with a booster is $285 and runs 60 minutes. Clients can choose among four boosters: Radiance, which targets the look of dark and sun spots for a more even complexion; Calming, which adds hydration and helps reduce visible redness; Age-Refinement, which uses a patented blend of peptides aimed at signs of aging; and Clarifiant, which cleanses, reduces excess oil, purifies pores, and treats acne. The Platinum HydraFacial, at $335 and 75 minutes, is a Deluxe treatment with ultrasonic serum infusion. The Diamond HydraFacial, at $399 and 75 minutes, combines a booster of choice, Rezenerate, and LED light therapy.

HydraFacial Keravive is a 30 to 40 minute scalp treatment at $549 designed to cleanse, stimulate, nourish, and hydrate the scalp, and it includes a free take-home peptide complex spray listed as a $150 value. Add-ons include extended extraction for $30, a Hydro Jelly mask for $30 on the face or $45 on the face and neck, Perk Eye and Perk Lip at $75 each, a neck treatment at $60, and a neck and décolleté treatment at $99. Boosters are not included with the neck treatments. The business notes that prices may change without notice.

The business says it does not favor quick fixes and suggests one HydraFacial per month for fine lines, wrinkles, brown spots, and oily or congested skin. First-time clients get 10% off single-visit services. Payment is accepted by credit card, cash, and Venmo. Changes need 48 hours' notice, and a $50 fee applies to no-shows and same-day cancellations. Clients can text the spa at (415) 828-9959. HydraFacial is not booked for clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or who have had chemotherapy or radiation therapy. Before treatment, clients are asked to stop topical retinoids and exfoliating treatments for 72 hours, and to avoid waxing and sun exposure for the same period. Afterward, the spa recommends daily SPF 30 or higher, a gentle cleanser, twice-daily moisturizer, and no hot showers or saunas for 24 hours. Nearby parking includes the Chinese Hospital Parking Garage at 1140 Powell St and the SFMTA North Beach Garage at 735 Vallejo St.

The business describes hydration as the foundation of healthy skin and presents the HydraFacial as a hydrating, non-irritating treatment designed for all skin types, including very sensitive skin.
