About

The clinic focuses on permanent hair removal through electrolysis for people of every gender and body type. It is based in a suite on Olive Way in downtown Seattle, close to light rail, and covers general facial and body hair, gender-affirming electrolysis, and PCOS-related hair removal.

Gender-affirming work includes face, body, and surgical preparation. Many gender-affirming surgeries require permanent hair removal several weeks to months beforehand, so the clinic offers a dedicated intake for people starting surgery prep or clearing the bikini line. Surgery prep sessions are 60 minutes and charged in full, with minor adjustments at the provider's discretion, and there is no surgery prep surcharge or added fee for genital-area treatment for gender-affirming surgery.

New clients start with a free 15-minute consultation to speak with a provider, followed by a 60-minute first treatment for most people. Session lengths are flexible, from quick facial visits to long surgery-prep appointments, and shorter sessions can be requested by calling or emailing the office. Treatment plans are shaped around each client's goals and needs.

The clinic does not bill insurance directly. Instead, it provides detailed superbills and guidance on prior authorizations, appeals, and reimbursement. For numbing, it uses the strongest lidocaine it considers safe for general use. The clinic describes electrolysis as the only FDA-approved method for permanent hair removal and says the method has more than 140 years of clinical use.

Treatment plans are tailored to each client's goals and needs, and the clinic recommends laser as a first step for reducing large amounts of dark hair, with referrals to specialists when laser is used.
