Aesthetically Oriented was founded by Dr. Ruby Arora in March 2019 and is physician-owned and operated in Pittsburgh. The business describes itself as Pittsburgh's premier MD spa. It is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm by appointment only, at Suite 203 on Campbells Run Road. The practice's history also notes that a medical weight loss program was added in 2011.
The business's philosophy is that each patient is evaluated and treated according to their own needs, so no single program is used for everyone. Clients have a personalized consultation and treatment plan before any treatment begins. The focus is on non-surgical treatments with reduced downtime and a stated aim of natural-looking results. The business says its treatments are virtually pain-free.
Injectable services include neurotoxin treatments using Botox, Dysport, or Xeomin, with appointments typically lasting 15 to 30 minutes. Aftercare advice for neurotoxin clients is to avoid rubbing or massaging the treated area for 24 hours, stay upright for 4 hours, and skip strenuous exercise for 24 hours. Dermal filler options include Juvederm, Restylane, RHA Collection, Revanesse Versa, and Belotero for lips, along with biostimulators such as Sculptra Aesthetic and Radiesse. Fat transfer and plasma-rich fibrin injections are also offered. Facial rejuvenation covers microneedling with exosomes, PRP/PRF treatment, radiofrequency microneedling, Ultherapy, IPL photofacial, fractional resurfacing, acne scar remodeling, sunspot reduction, and treatment of small facial blood vessels. Facials include chemical peels, hydration and acne-focused facials, a European contour facial, a men's facial, two ZO Skin Health facials, and a HydraFacial. Painless laser hair removal uses the Motus AY system. Medical weight loss programs combine diet and exercise plans with medical treatment, including FDA-approved medications when appropriate. Enhancement add-ons such as LED therapy, eye and lip treatment, and reflexology can be added to facials.
Membership programs are available for regular neurotoxin and facial clients. Anti-Wrinkle memberships come in three tiers with monthly pricing and set unit allotments, require a 12-month commitment, and include priority scheduling and a discount on other aesthetic services. The Premium Facial Membership includes a monthly 60-minute Signature Facial and access to a set of specialized facials. Financing options are available for treatments. A $250 fee applies at booking for aesthetic, weight loss, and laser consultations and can be applied to future services. New patient appointments, excluding consultations, require a $125 deposit. Cancellations, rescheduling, or no-shows with less than 24 hours' notice incur a $125 fee, and an appointment may be rescheduled no more than twice.
Creates personalized consultations and long-term treatment plans, focusing on non-surgical methods with minimal downtime and natural-looking results.
