AEROVI was co-founded by Jason Teno and Lea Disney and operates from a studio at 7540 Metropolitan Drive in San Diego. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy sessions run 60 to 90 minutes and are tailored to specific health needs. The chamber is a multiplace unit powered to 2.0 ATA, and clients breathe 96% oxygen through face masks. Clients may sit alone or with others, and can read, listen to music or watch TV during the session. The largest chamber has four reclining seats, and a second unit seats one person. The studio says HBOT is FDA-approved for specific conditions such as decompression sickness and carbon monoxide poisoning, and that some uses of its therapies are off-label.

Red and near-infrared light sessions last about 20 to 30 minutes, with the panels positioned beneath the client. Loose, comfortable clothing is recommended, since this therapy may require skin exposure. PEMF sessions are done on mats and run 30 to 60 minutes depending on the treatment protocol. Normatec sessions for the legs and hips run about 30 to 60 minutes on the Normatec Legs and Normatec Hips systems.

Appointments can be booked through the website, by phone or by email, and advance booking is suggested to secure preferred times. A consultation is offered before treatment begins so the studio can address client concerns, and frequency is discussed at that point. Multiple therapies can be combined in one visit, and each plan is customized to the client. Staying hydrated and avoiding heavy meals beforehand is generally advised.

The studio offers post-surgery plans that include one to three HBOT sessions before surgery, followed by a series of 10 sessions with a minimum of five. Scar refinement uses ongoing HBOT sessions over the following weeks. The studio advises against HBOT for people with untreated pneumothorax, uncontrolled ear infections, a recent cold or fever, or congestive heart failure. PEMF is not advised for people with pacemakers or other electronic implants, or for those with active hemorrhaging. Normatec is not advised for people with deep vein thrombosis, severe peripheral artery disease, or open limb wounds or infections. People on photosensitizing medications or with photosensitivity disorders are advised to take care or avoid red light therapy.
