Advanced Medical & Aesthetics

Advanced Medical & Aesthetics is a physician-led practice with three offices: Mission Viejo, Corona and Norwalk. It serves patients from Orange County, the Inland Empire and Los Angeles County. Appointments are required at every office, and requests made through the website or by phone are not confirmed appointments until the office confirms them. Text messages are used for scheduling only, so medical records and sensitive health details should not be sent that way.

The medical side of the practice covers primary care and sick visits at all three offices, with telehealth available for visits that suit it. ER and hospital follow-up care is offered under the Follow Up Dr. name, powered by AM&A, and the Norwalk office provides medical care and this transitional follow-up only. Other medical services include wound care evaluations, infusion consultations that look at whether an available infusion fits a patient's needs, medical weight-loss care with GLP-1 treatment, and vitamin B12 injections when appropriate, including for vitamin B12 deficiency. Medical weight-loss care starts with a medical evaluation, an insurance review and ongoing follow-up, and in-office injection visits are available for prescribed Wegovy, Ozempic or Mounjaro when clinically appropriate.

Hair restoration is offered at the Mission Viejo and Corona offices. A medical hair-loss evaluation starts with a consultation that covers medical history, the scalp, medications, nutrition and the patient's goals. Services include FUE hair transplants, beard and eyebrow transplants, Alma TED as an option to discuss during evaluation, PRP consultations to see whether platelet-rich plasma fits a hair-care plan, and transplant aftercare. The practice describes hair restoration as long-term care with follow-up visits and progress photos. Optional testing includes TrichoTest, SNiP genetic testing and NutriGen testing, and the practice also offers Nutrafol and Capillus products through separate partner checkouts.

Aesthetic procedures are offered at the Mission Viejo office. These include Aerolase LightPod Neo laser treatments for acne, NeoSkin facials and facial hair reduction, CO2 skin resurfacing using Alma Hybrid, fat transfer using the patient's own collected fat, and laser-assisted liposuction with BeautiFill by Alma. The practice describes liposuction as a surgical procedure rather than a weight-loss treatment.

Patients should arrive with a photo ID, their insurance information if they have it, and a list of the medications they currently take. What a plan pays and what the patient owes depends on both the plan and the service, and insurance coverage is never guaranteed. Aesthetic procedures and some hair-restoration services are usually paid directly by the patient. Before deciding, a patient may ask for the consultation fee and an individual cost estimate. Prescription medications are billed separately through the patient's pharmacy, and medical weight-loss medication is not part of the AM&A visit fee. The at-home TrichoTest and NutriGen genetic tests cost $300.00 each. That price covers the kit, shipping both ways including the prepaid sample return, laboratory testing, and the results AM&A provides. Genetic test purchases cannot be refunded.
