Adorne Artistry opened in 2009 and started out in a residential property, where it operated for nine years before moving into a larger studio in September 2018. The studio is The Creative Chateau, a French-inspired space furnished with French antiques, which also hosts showers, weddings, and bridal and engagement shoots.

A visit usually begins with a consultation, a conversation with an artist about hair, foundation match and makeup palette. No services are performed at the consultation. Trial runs are held in the studio with time built in for changes and adjustments, and the same artist is assigned to the trial run and the wedding day. Artists are assigned by availability.

Bridal clients can choose a hair and makeup package for the bride, which includes airbrush makeup, skin prep, false eyelash application, a full-size lip color, an anti-shine touch-up kit and hair service. Rendezvous packages cover one, two or three additional hair or makeup services, and upgrades add drinks and a grazing board, prep or robe kits, and getting-ready gear. Attendant, junior bridesmaid, flower girl and trial run services are priced separately.

On-location appointments carry travel fees that depend on the area, ranging from Houston to towns such as Bryan and Brenham. Bridal package clients also receive discounted Beauty Lounge services and 10% off retail purchases.

The Beauty Lounge was added in 2020 and offers blow outs, custom blend lip color, facials, hair extensions, lash extensions, waxing and lessons. Treatments use curated products and current technology and are customized to each client. Booking early locks in current prices, and a 50% non-refundable retainer with a signed contract is needed to reserve a date.

The business uses production-style hair and makeup techniques rather than salon-style methods, and describes its look as soft, natural and dreamy.

The modern, chic studio at The Creative Chateau has soft music and natural light from more than 20 skylights.
