Addicted To Nails is owned and operated by Sheera Gersh-Brown, who has more than 20 years of experience in the nail industry. The salon occupies a private suite inside Total Image Beauty Mall, with its own entrance on the south side of the center. The salon describes itself as Arizona's top nail salon in Tempe for custom nails and says it has built a dedicated clientele.

The salon is licensed by the Arizona State Board of Cosmetology. It says its nail technicians are certified and specialize in both acrylic and soft and hard gel applications. Before creating a look, each client is consulted individually so the work reflects their wants and preferences. Clients who have a specific design or shape in mind are asked to send photos, since some designs need extra time.

Services are grouped into enhancements, manicures, nail art and pedicures. Acrylic enhancements can be worn long or short in almond, square or stiletto shapes. Hard gel enhancements offer a more natural shape, either as a shorter extension or as an overlay on the natural nail. Custom glitter mixes draw on hundreds of colors, sizes and shapes of glitter, applied under acrylic or over gel polish. Rockstar Toes is a pedicure with glitter embedded in gel, and the salon says it lasts six to eight weeks.

Appointments are required, and the salon is open Tuesday through Saturday by appointment only, with limited walk-in availability. Evening and weekend times often book several weeks ahead, and a waiting list is kept for cancellations. Booking is available through the salon website, the Vagaro app, vagaro.com/addictedtonails, or by calling or texting (480) 735-8996. Confirmations are sent 72 hours before an appointment and reminders 36 hours before. A credit card is required to book, and it is charged only for no-shows or cancellations with less than 24 hours notice, which are billed at the full price of the service. Clients more than 10 minutes late may have their appointment cancelled. Children are not allowed at appointments.

Each client is consulted individually to understand their wants and preferences before a look is created. The salon says it uses only professional products and hospital grade sanitation, with single use files.
