Activate Ozone Sauna Therapy

Activate Ozone Sauna Therapy is a Houston studio built around ozone sauna sessions, which combine humid heat and ozone in a sauna. The business says the practice began in Russia and is becoming better known in the United States.

A visit is a 30-minute session. New clients can book a single first-try session for $75, with an optional EWOT add-on for $10. Packages of 5, 10 or 20 sessions cost $325, $615 and $1,159, with 10%, 15% and 25% off and complimentary EWOT included.

The business recommends at least 10 sessions spaced fairly closely together, since it describes the effects as cumulative. It also says ozone therapy is not meant to stand alone and should be paired with healthy eating, detox, hormone therapy and similar care.

According to the business, its treatments are refreshing and rewarding and say they help relieve ailments. It says ozone sauna therapy may support longevity, detoxification, skin tone, circulation, energy and oxygenation, and that it has been shown to aid athletes from pre-game preparation through recovery. The business also says it is working with doctors in Houston and reviewing existing research on the benefits.

The studio is open Monday through Saturday, 9 am to 7 pm. Appointments are booked through the business website.

The business recommends at least 10 closely spaced sessions and presents ozone sauna therapy as a complement to diet, detox, hormone therapy and similar care rather than a standalone treatment.
