About Face by Nicky is an independent studio rather than a branch of another company. Its first location is at 12445 Ventura Blvd inside Rua Salon, where Ana works. The second is at 12153 Ventura Blvd, Suite 104, inside Trim a Salon, where Nicky works; that location sits in the back of the Von's shopping center, next to CVS.

About

Skincare is built around each client's skin type, concerns and goals, and consultations are available to plan treatments with Nicky or Ana. Options include Nicky's C Signature Facial (60 minutes, $235), the Acne Away Facial (60 minutes, $225, which asks clients to commit to home care), and the Oxygen Lift Firm and Glow Facial (90 minutes, $285). The ENVIRON Growth Factor Glow Facial (90 minutes, $350) adds microcurrent and an alginate mask. Customized peels use a blend that may include AHAs, BHAs, mandelic acid and kojic acid, chosen after a skin analysis; a peel is $275 alone or $350 with a follow-up facial, and the Customized Peel Select (90 minutes, $350) includes a follow-up facial seven days later. Celluma light therapy is also offered, which the studio describes as non-invasive. A Pre-Teen Facial for ages 8 to 12 (45 minutes, $145) covers cleansing, mild exfoliation, a mask and a light moisturizer with sun protection.

Sugar paste is applied for removal at the root, which leaves skin feeling smooth, while hard wax is the option for delicate zones like the bikini area, underarms and facial hair. Ana works across soft, hard and sugar waxing. Listed prices include a bikini wax at $40, a Brazilian at $55, full legs at $95, full arms at $55 and a full body wax at $300. The Vajacial, a facial for the vulva, is $90 on its own or $120 combined with a Brazilian. Men can book chest, back, shoulder or full body waxing. According to the studio, results can last three to six weeks.

Lash and brow services include keratin lash lifts ($110), lash tinting ($40), lash lift with tint ($135) and brow lamination with a henna stain or tint ($130, about 45 minutes). The studio says keratin lash lift results last six to eight weeks. Eyebrow shaping for a first visit to the salon is $50.
