Abellathena Life is a private skin studio in Apple Valley, Minnesota, founded by Alva McMillan. The studio offers personalized facial and scalp treatments for clients of all skin tones, and visits can be for relaxation, routine skin upkeep, corrective care, or a combination of these.

According to the studio, its aim is to listen to clients, explain their options, and design custom plans meant to improve both skin and self-assurance. Every client gets a plan shaped around their own goals. A first visit starts with an in-depth consultation about the client's current routine and objectives, followed by an AI-powered skin analysis that measures eight skin markers, among them barrier health, pores, pigmentation, fine lines, texture, oil balance and hydration, and then a hydrating treatment. All appointments are one-on-one, held in a treatment room reserved for a single client. Clients are asked to disclose any medical conditions, medications and allergies when booking and again before each appointment.

Before booking Procell microchanneling, dermaplaning or chemical rejuvenation, clients first speak with a skin therapist. Corrective plans can be built to target breakouts, hyperpigmentation, signs of aging, fine lines, skin balance, renewal and resurfacing.

The studio also creates custom Korean skincare, called K-PRO, from each client's analysis data. Custom formulations include an Essence Serum, an Ampoule, and a Lotion made with natural plant extracts. Because each product is made after the analysis, it is not stocked on a shelf. Clients receive a skin analysis report and a private shopping link, or they can buy during their appointment, and ordered products ship directly to the client at no additional cost. The Procell Hair Loss Scalp Treatment is used for thinning hair, androgenetic alopecia, and hair loss from aging or hormonal changes. Hair loss treatments take 60 to 90 minutes. Procell microchanneling can be combined with PRP, and clients should avoid Rogaine or other topical products with it unless approved. Procell treatments are also available as gift certificates purchasable online.
