abeautyBar is a small Glen Ellyn studio where Serena Gadawski, the owner, is the only esthetician. The business describes its experience as luxury skincare, and its services are built around facials, with brows and lashes offered as well.

The facial menu is the deepest part of the listing. It ranges from a 50-minute customized facial with deep cleansing, exfoliation, extractions when needed, a custom mask and facial massage, to an oxygen-infusion facial suited to acne and any skin type, a 60-minute hydro dermabrasion facial, and a PDRN-based facial that pairs dermaplaning with customized enzymes. A calm skin facial is designed for sensitive skin, and chemical peels are offered for acne, acne scarring, hyperpigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles. Shark LED light therapy and a cooling massage with cold hammer treatment are also on the menu.

Brow services cover waxing, tinting, brow lamination and combined versions of these. Brow lamination smooths and lifts natural brow hairs, with results lasting four to six weeks. Lash services include a Korean lash lift and tint using the Elleebana system, which the site says lasts six to eight weeks, and a standard lash lift and tint. A lash lift is also offered to new clients only, while supplies last.

Treatments are customized to each client. Packages bundle services for a lower total, such as two or three chemical peels, and can be paid for with buy now, pay later options. A valid card is required to book, with no charge at the time of booking. Clients must be 18 or older. Cancellations and reschedules need 24 hours notice; late cancellations are charged half the scheduled service and no-shows the full amount, and arriving 15 minutes or more late may mean rescheduling. Gift cards come in set amounts or a custom value and are final when sold. According to the booking site, the studio is open Wednesday evenings, Friday evenings and Saturday mornings, and closed Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.

Each treatment is tailored to the individual client, and the menu is built around customized facials.
