AALAM The Salon serves men and women from two locations: the Shops at Starwood in Frisco and Headquarters Village in Plano. Owners and co-founders Mansour Aalam and Naser Aalam lead the team, and Sherry Aalam serves as Lead Educator.

Each visit opens with a consultation with the stylist or colorist to talk through hair needs and goals. A shampoo and head massage follow, then the cut or color service, and the products used are reviewed with a suggested home-care routine. Extra charges can apply for extra-long or dense hair or for extra iron work, and the stylist explains these at consultation. Guests can enjoy complimentary drinks during haircut and color appointments, such as wine, beer, coffee, tea or soft drinks.

The menu covers women's cuts and styling, color and highlights, keratin smoothing treatments, and hair extensions, along with a men's range that includes cuts, modern color in masculine shades, gray blending and keratin treatments. LUXBAR by AALAM offers makeup, eyelash upgrades, braids, and event and bridal hairstyling, with bridal pricing set by consultation.

The salon is organized by specialty: some stylists work mainly on chemical services such as color, highlights and perms, while others focus on cutting and styling. It runs an in-house training program for its hairdressers, and it describes its education as based on current cutting and coloring methods, with trend ideas drawn from several well-known haircare and beauty brands.
