A1 Essentials LLC began with a modest vision and, about six years ago, started investing in the lash industry. From that lash focus it has expanded into an esthetic brand offering a range of self care and beauty services.
A refill is only possible when at least 40% of the natural lashes remain on both eyes; otherwise a full set is needed, and clients coming from another provider need a removal and full set. After two to three refills, a fresh full set is recommended. Clients who have not been seen in six months or more are treated as new clients.
The booking categories also include brows, hair, skin care, waxing services, tooth gems, and trainings and certifications. A Wax Wednesdays special is offered, and the business sells retail lash tweezers, lash care products and a few accessories.
Bookings come with a $26 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit, and a $5 card fee applies to every payment except cash. All payments and deposits are non-refundable. Cancelling for any reason with less than 24 hours' notice carries a $20 fee charged to the card on file, rescheduling on short notice costs $10, and arriving 15 minutes late cancels the appointment. Guests are not allowed at appointments, and clients are asked not to wear makeup or mascara on the face. Squeeze-in appointments outside regular hours cost $15 and must be confirmed first, and holiday appointments carry a $10 surcharge. Excessive lash fallout must be reported within 24 hours, after which touch ups, refills or full sets are charged. The calendar for the following month opens on the last Friday of each month.
